Megapixels and Zoom
The Samsung EX1 is an advanced, compact digital camera. It has 10 megapixels and a 5x wide angle zoom lens. Features include manual controls, a f/1.8 maximum aperture, plus a RAW mode. Other features include manual focusing, image stabilisation, bracketing and stereo sound.
The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 24 - 72mm in 35mm mode. 4x digital zoom is also available.

LCD and Viewfinder
The LCD screen is 3 inches in size. The screen pulls away from the body and twists round. The quality of the screen is great.
Flash
Flash works to a maximum distance of 6.2m when the zoom is not being used and 5.1m when zoom is fully extended. The intensity of the flash unit can be adjusted.
Scene Modes
You can access the following scene modes: Beauty Shot, Frame Guide, Night, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Close-up, Text, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Firework, Beach & Snow.
Movies
The maximum resolution is 640 x 480 pixels with a top speed of 30 frames per second. You can zoom in and out while recording the movie.
