Samsung Digimax NV20 Features
The Samsung Digimax NV20 is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. 5x digital zoom is also available. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 34 - 102mm in 35mm format. The lens aperture is f/2.8 - f/5.2.
Basics

Focusing
For portrait shots you can use face detection focusing. This helps the camera to focus on faces and produce sharper portraits.
In macro mode the camera can focus from 4cm away from the subject.
LCD
The LCD screen is 2.5" in size and is made up of around 230,000 pixels.
Flash
The range of the built in flash unit is 4.5m. This falls to 2.4m when the flash is turned on. The flash modes are Auto, Auto & Red-eye reduction, Fill-in flash, Slow sync, Flash off and Red-eye Fix.
Scene Modes
The scene modes available are Night, Portrait, Children, Landscape, BIZ, Close-up, Text, Sunset,
Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, Beach & Snow, Café, Food and Self-Shot.
Movies
Movies with sound can be recorded with a top speed of 30 frames per second. The maximum resolution is 640 x 480 pixels. Zoom can be applied during recording.
Advanced Features
There is a fully manual exposure option. This allows you to switch the aperture (wide: f/2.8 or f/7) (tele: f/5.2 or f12.9). Shutter speeds can be set in the range 15 seconds to 1/1500 seconds.
Other advanced features include metering (Multi, Spot, Center-weighted, Face Recognition AE), exposure compensation (±2EV (1/3 EV steps)), ISO (Auto, 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 (at 3M )) and white balance (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Fluorescent_H, Fluorescent_L, Tungsten, Custom).
Continuous shooting and a burst mode are also available.

All the necessary cables and software are supplied to connect the Digimax NV20 to a television set, computer and compatible printer.
