Megapixels and Zoom
The Pentax Optio i-10 has 12 megapixels and a 5x wide angle zoom lens. It can shoot High Definition movies and is compatible with Eye-Fi memory cards for wireless transmission to a PC. Other features include image stabilisation. Still images can be extracted from movie footage.
Zoom can be increased when shooting at lower resolutions. For example 6.6x zoom is available at 7 megapixels and 31.3x zoom is available at 640 pixels. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 28 - 140mm in 35mm format. 6.25x digital zoom is available too.

Movies
You can shoot short, High Definition movies with a resolution of 720p at a top speed of 30 frames per second. Zoom can be applied before shooting starts.
