Panasonic DMC FX37 Features
The Panasonic DMC FX37 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom. If you are prepared to shoot at a lower resolution then extra zoom becomes available. The maximum zoom is 8.9x if you are shooting at 3 megapixels. 4x digital zoom is a further option for increasing zoom.
The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 25 - 125mm in 35mm format. The lens aperture works in the range Wide: F2.8 - F8.0 Tele: F5.9 - F8.

LCD
The LCD monitor is 2.5 inches in size. The screen is made up of around 230,000 dots. I found the screen easy to see in sunlight.
Flash
The flash modes are: Auto, Auto/Red-eye Reduction, On, Off and Slow Sync./Red-eye Reduction. The maximum flash range is 6m. This falls to 2.8m when the zoom lens is fully extended.
