Panasonic DMC FX35 Features

Megapixels and Zoom

Panasonic DMC FX35 The Panasonic DMC FX35 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom. If you are prepared to shoot at a lower resolution then extra zoom becomes available. The maximum zoom is 7.1x if you are shooting at 2 megapixels.

The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 25 - 100mm in 35mm format. This makes the lens wide angle and is ideal for squeezing in wide landscapes, groups of people and buildings. It is worth noting that the flip side of the wide angle lens is that although the lens on the DMC FX35 is a 4x zoom it has less zoom in capacity than a typical 3x zoom lens. The lens aperture works in the range Wide: F2.8 / F8.0 and Tele: F5.6 / F8 (2 steps).
