Panasonic DMC FX150 Features

The Panasonic DMC FX150 is a 14.7 megapixel digital camera with a 3.6x optical zoom. If you are prepared to shoot at a lower resolution then extra zoom becomes available. The maximum zoom is 7.7x if you are shooting at 2 megapixels. 4x digital zoom is a further option for increasing zoom.

The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 28 - 100mm in 35mm format.

LCD

The LCD monitor is 2.7 inches in size. The screen is made up of around 230,000 dots. I found the screen easy to see in sunlight.

Flash

The flash modes are: Built-in-Flash Auto, Auto/Red-eye Reduction, Forced On, Slow Sync./Red-eye Reduction and Forced Off. The maximum flash range is 5.9m. This falls to 2.9m when the zoom lens is fully extended.

Scene Modes

There are a number of preset scene modes. Movies

You can shoot High Definition movies with a widescreen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second apart from in HD mode where the top speed is 24 frames per second. Sound can be recorded and zoom can be applied before shooting starts.
