Olympus SP-570 Features
Megapixels and Zoom
The Olympus SP-570 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 20x wide angle, optical zoom lens. The focal length is equivalent to 26 - 520mm in 35mm format. 5x digital zoom is also available.

Focusing
Manual focusing is available. There is also a special setting for detecting faces. For close up shots there is a super macro mode that allows the SP-570 to focus from 1cm away from the subject.
LCD
The LCD screen is 2.7 inches in size and is made up of around 230,000 pixels.
Flash
The flash modes available are Auto, Red-eye reduction, Fill-in, Off, Red-eye reduction & Fill-in and Slow synchronisation. The maximum range of the pop up flash is 6.4m. This falls to 4m when the zoom lens is fully extended. Flash exposure compensation is also available.
Scene Modes
There are 23 scene modes you can use. These are Portrait, Landscape, Landscape with Portrait, Sports, Night Scene, Night Scene with portrait, Indoor, Candle, Self-portrait
Available Light Portrait, Sunset, Fireworks, Multi Fireworks, Cuisine, Behind Glass, Documents, Auction, Shoot & Select 1, Shoot & Select 2, Smile Shot, Beach and Snow and Shutter Chance.
Image Editing
After a photo has been taken a number of options can be applied:
- Black & White
- Sepia
- Funny Face
- Face Focus
- RAW data edit
- Red-eye reduction
- Light fix
Movies
Movies with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 can be captured. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Optical zoom can be applied while recording is in progress.

There are a number of more advanced features. These include:

Conversion Lenses and Hot Shoe: To further increase the capacity of the lens you can use a lens adapter (CLA-10) to fit conversion lenses to the SP-570. There is also a hot shoe available.

All the necessary cables and software are supplied to attach the Olympus SP-570 to a computer, television set and compatible printer.
