Olympus FE-5020 Features
The Olympus FE-5020 is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a 5x, extra wide angle lens. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 24 - 120mm in 35mm format. 4x digital zoom is a further option for increasing zoom.
Olympus has opted to produce a fairly basic digital camera in preference to a feature packed model. Features of note include a 2.7 inch LCD screen and a super macro that can focus from 1cm away from a subject.

LCD

Flash
The flash modes are: on, off, red eye reduction and automatic. The maximum flash range is 4.1m at ISO 800. This falls to 2.3m when the zoom lens is fully extended.
Scene Modes
There are a number of preset scene modes. These are: Portrait, Landscape, Night Scene, Night Scene with portrait, Sports, Indoor, Candle, Self-portrait, Sunset, Fireworks, Cuisine, Documents, Beach and Snow and Pet.
Movies
You can shoot movies with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded and optical zoom can be applied before shooting starts. Digital zoom can be applied while shooting is in progress.
Image Editing
After a photo has been taken you can edit your shots to reduce red eye and the effect of shadows.
