Olympus FE-20 Features

The Olympus FE-20 is an 8 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 36 - 108mm in 35mm format. 4x digital zoom is a further option for increasing zoom.

The LCD monitor is 2.5 inches in size. The screen is made up of around 154,000 dots.

The flash modes are: On, Off, Automatic and Red-eye Reduction. The maximum flash range is 4m. This falls to 2m when the zoom lens is fully extended. These figures are based on ISO 800 and the range will be less when shooting at lower ISO levels.

There are a number of preset scene modes. These are: Portrait, Landscape, Night Scene with portrait, Sports, Indoor, Candle, Self-portrait, Sunset, Fireworks, Behind Glass, Cuisine, Documents and Auction.

You can shoot movies with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded and optical zoom can be applied before shooting starts. Digital zoom can be applied while shooting.

All the necessary cables and software are supplied to attach the Olympus FE-20 to a computer, television set and compatible printer.
