Nikon Coolpix P80 Features
The Nikon Coolpix P80 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with an 18x optical zoom lens. The lens has a focal length equivalent to 27 - 486mm in 35mm format.

Focusing
Among the focusing options is the ability to focus from 1cm in macro mode and face detection for sharper portrait shots. Manual focusing is also available.
LCD and Viewfinder
In addition to the 2.7 inch LCD screen there is also an electronic viewfinder. The LCD screen is made up of 230,000 pixels.
Flash
The flash unit pops up on top of the camera. This reduces the possibility of red eye through the increased distance between the flash unit and the lens.
The maximum flash range is 8.8m when the zoom lens is not in use. The flash modes you can select from are automatic, automatic with red eye, always on, always off, slow sync and red eye reduction with slow sync.
Flash exposure compensation is also available.

The scene modes available are: Portrait, Night Portrait, Sports, Landscape, Party, Beach/Snow, Sunset, Dusk/Dawn, Night Landscape, Museum and Fireworks Show
Movies
Movies with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 and a top speed of 30 frames per second can be recorded. Sound can be captured and zoom can be applied before shooting starts. Digital zoom can be applied while shooting is in progress.
