Nikon Coolpix L15 Features
The Nikon Coolpix L15 is an 8 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. The lens has a focal length equivalent to 35 - 105mm in 35mm format and a maximum aperture of f/2.8 - f/4.7. 4x digital zoom is also available.

Focusing
Face detection focusing is available for portrait shots. In macro mode the Coolpix L15 can focus from 15cm away from the subject.

The 2.8 inch LCD screen is made up of around 230,000 pixels.
Flash
The flash modes are: automatic, red eye reduction, slow synchro, always on and always off.
Scene Modes
A selection of scene modes has been built into the camera. These are: portrait, landscape, sports, night portrait, party/indoor, beach/snow, sunset, dawn/dusk, night landscape, close up, museum, fireworks, copy and backlight.
Movies
TV quality movies with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels can be recorded. Sound can be captured, but zoom can only be applied before you start shooting.
Advanced Features
There are a small number of advanced features you have access to. These are white balance (Auto, Manual, Daylight, Incandescent Cloudy, Flash and Fluorescent) and exposure compensation (+/-2 in 0.3 steps).
Continuous shooting is available as well. You can also opt to use the automatic best shot selector and a multi shot feature. The multi shot feature builds 16 small images into a single, standard size image.

All the necessary cables and software are supplied to connect the camera to a compatible printer, television and computer.
