Megapixels and Zoom
The Fuji Finepix J10 is an 8 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. 5.1x digital zoom is also available. The focal length is equivalent to 38 to 113mm on a 35mm camera. The aperture range is F2.8 - F5.2 (wide).
Basics
Focusing
For close up shots the Finepix J10 is able to focus from 15cm. All other focusing is controlled automatically by the camera.
LCD
The LCD screen is 2.5 inches in size. It is made up of around 153,000 pixels.
Scene Modes
There are a standard set of scene modes. These are Portrait, Baby, Landscape, Sport, Night, Natural light, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, Sunset, Flower, Party, Museum and Text.
Movies
TV ready movies can be shot at a maximum resolution of 640 x 320 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be captured, but zoom is not available during recording.
Advanced Features
There are a few more advanced features you can use. These are sensitivity (ISO 64, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600), white balance (Fine, Shade, Fluorescent light (Daylight), Fluorescent light (Warm White), Fluorescent light (Cool White), Incandescent light) and exposure compensation (+/- 2 in 0.3 steps).
Shutter speeds are another feature controlled automatically. These work in the range 8 seconds to 1/1500 seconds.
Computer - Printers - Television
All the necessary cables and software are supplied to attach the Fuji Finepix J10 to a computer, television set and compatible printer.
