Megapixels and Zoom
The Fuji Finepix F50 is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 36-108mm on a 35mm camera. 8.2x digital zoom is also available.
Basics

Focusing
In macro mode the Finepix F50 is able to focus from 7cm away from the subject. Face detection is also available for portrait shots.
LCD
The LCD screen is 2.7 inches in size. It is made up of around 230,000 pixels.
Flash
The flash can be set to on, off, automatic, red eye reduction and slow synchro.
Scene Modes
The scene modes available are: Portrait, Landscape, Sport, Night, Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Underwater, Beach, Museum, Party, Flower, Close-up and Text.
Movies
Movies with sound can be recorded. The maximum resolution is 640 x 480 pixels and the maximum speed is 30 frames per second. Zoom can be applied before recording starts, but not while it is in progress.
Advanced Features
Shutter speeds can be set in the range 1 second to 1/1000 seconds. The aperture can be set in the range f/2.8 - 8 (wide) f/5.1 - 8 (tele).
Other advanced features include white balance (Automatic scene recognition Preset (Fine, Shade, Fluorescent light (Daylight), Fluorescent light (Warm White), Fluorescent light (Cool White), Incandescent light), custom), metering (multi, spot and average) and exposure compensation (+/-2 in 0.3 steps).
There are a number of settings for sensitivity. These are Auto / Auto(1600) / Auto(800) / Auto(400) / Equivalent to ISO 100/200/400/800/1600/3200*/6400*(Standard Output Sensitivity)/(up to ISO 2000 on Anti-Blur/Natural Light mode) *ISO3200 6M pixels or lower. ISO6400 3M.
Continuous shooting is also available.
Computer - Printers - Television
Cables and software are supplied to attach the Finepix F50 to a television, computer and compatible printer.
