Casio Exilim EX-Z1200 Features
The Casio Exilim EX-Z1200 is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a 3x zoom lens. 4x digital zoom is also available. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 37 - 111mm in 35mm format. The maximum aperture of the lens is f=2.8(W) to 5.5(T).
Basics

Focusing
For close up photography the Exilim EX-Z1200 can focus from 6cm away from the subject. Manual focusing is available. For sharper portrait shots you can also use face detection focusing.
LCD
2.8 inch in size. The screen is made up of around 230,400 pixels.
Flash
The flash modes you can use are Auto, Flash On, Flash Off, Soft Flash, Red Eye Reduction. The maximum range of the flash is 4m, falling to 2.4m when the zoom is in use. You can adjust the intensity of the flash unit.
Scene Modes
The scene modes are known as Best Shot on the Exilim EX-Z1200. The list of available scenes is: portrait, scenery, portrait with scenery, children, sports, candlelight portrait, party, pet, flower, natural green, autumn leaves, soft flowing water, splashing water, sundown, night scene, night scene portrait, fireworks, food, text, collection, auction, backlight, high sensitivity, underwater, monochrome, retro, twilight, layout, layout 2, auto framing, ID photo, old photo, business cards and documents, whiteboard and custom.
Movies
Movies can be recorded up to the capacity of the memory card. Widescreen movies can be shot at a resolution of 848 x 480 pixels. Zoom can be applied before recording, but not while recording is in progress.
Advanced Features
Among the more advanced features are metering (Multi-pattern, centre weighted, spot), exposure compensation (-2EV to +2EV (in 1/3EV steps)), white balance (auto, sunny, cloudy, shady, fluorescent night, fluorescent day, tungsten and custom.) and sensitivity (ISO 50, 100, 200, 400).
Shutter speeds work in the range 1/2000 seconds to 4 seconds. These are set automatically by the camera.
Continuous shooting is also available.
Computer - Printers - Television
All the necessary cables and software are supplied to connect the camera to a compatible printer, television and computer.
