Canon IXUS 95 IS Features
The Canon IXUS 95 IS is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. The focal length of the lens is equivalent to 35 - 105mm in 35mm format. 4x digital zoom is also available.

LCD and Viewfinder
The LCD monitor is 2.5 inches in size. The screen is made up of around 230,000 dots. The IXUS 95 IS is one of the few pocket cameras to include an optical viewfinder.
Flash
The flash modes are: automatic, on and off. You can also apply slow sync speed and red eye reduction. In addition flash exposure compensation and flash exposure lock are available.
The maximum flash range is 4.2m. This falls to 2.4m when the zoom lens is fully extended. To increase the range of the flash unit you can buy an external flash - the Canon High Power Flash HF-DC1.
Scene Modes
There are a number of preset scene modes. These are: Portrait, Night Snapshot, Kids and Pets, Indoor, Sunset, Foliage, Snow, Beach, Fireworks, Aquarium, Underwater, ISO3200 and Long shutter.
Movies
You can shoot TV quality movies with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded. Optical zoom can be applied before shooting and digital zoom can be applied while shooting is in progress.

All the necessary cables and software are supplied to attach the Canon IXUS 95 IS to a computer, television set and compatible printer.
Waterproof Case
Canon has made a waterproof case (WP-DC29) available if you are thinking of using the IXUS 95 IS underwater. The case is waterproof to a depth of 40m.
