Canon IXUS 210 Features
The Canon IXUS 210 has 14 megapixels and a5x optical zoom lens. A focal length equivalent to 24 - 120mm in 35mm format gives the IXUS 210 wide angle capabilities. Other zoom options include Digital Tele-Converter approx. 1.7x or 2.1x and Safety Zoom. There is also 4x digital zoom.
Further key features include a 3.5 inch touch controlled LCD screen, High Definition movies and image stabilisation.

The LCD monitor is 3 inches in size. The screen is made up of around 460,000 dots. Some features are controlled through touching the LCD screen.
Flash
The flash modes are: automatic, on and off. You can also apply slow sync speed and red eye reduction. In addition flash exposure compensation and flash exposure lock are available.
The maximum flash range is 3.5m. This falls to 2m when the zoom lens is fully extended.
Scene Modes
There are a number of preset scene modes. These are: Portrait, Night Snapshot, Kids & Pets, Indoor, Smart Shutter (Smile, Wink Self-Timer, FaceSelf-Timer), Low Light (3.5MP), Color Accent, Color Swap, Fish-eye Effect, Miniature Effect, Creative Light Effect, Beach, Foliage, Snow, Fireworks and Long Shutter.
Movies
The IXUS 210 can shoot High Definition movies with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The top recording speed is 30 frames per second. Sound can be recorded. Optical zoom can be applied before shooting and digital zoom can be applied while shooting is in progress.
