Simple picture of a young ducking taken in early spring. I used a Canon EOS 1100D and a Sigma APO 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM. The lens was zoomed in as far as it would go. For the shot I used aperture priority and set the aperture as large as it would go. This was so that I could use the fastest possible shutter speed to blur out some of the background detail. The duckling was one of four sitting with its mother. I was able to get a few feet away from them without disturbing them at all. As you can see from the picture they were pretty relaxed.
The picture was taken on a weekday morning. Weekends at Bushy Park can get busy and you are unlikely to find quite such a relaxed environment then especially if the weather is good.
