New Kodak Digital Cameras for Spring 2010

Kodak is to introduce four new digital cameras in their M range during Spring 2010. These cameras all fall into the easy to use category. Kodak are aiming these new models at people who like to share photos through social networking web sites such as Facebook and Flickr or by email. These cameras have been set up so that sharing in this way can be carried out by a single button press. In order to make these functions available Kodak has incorporated an in camera tagging system.

Another innovation allows you to transfer photos directly to a new photo frame introduced by Kodak. This is the Kodak Pulse Digital Frame.

The four cameras are:

KODAK EASYSHARE M580

Kodak Easyshare M580 This is a 14 megapixel digital camera with an 8x zoom lens. The lens has wide angle capabilities. The M580 is able to capture High Definition movies. It has a 3 inch LCD screen. It is likely be in the shops around the beginning of April 2010. The M580 is available in silver, brown and purple versions and has a recommended retail price of £ 179.99.

KODAK EASYSHARE M575

Kodak Easyshare M580 The next camera in the series is the M575. This also boasts 14 megapixels. Other features include a 5x wide angle lens. There is a 3 inch LCD screen and High Definition movie capture is also available with this camera. Colour choices are red, green and black. As with the M580 the M575 is due to hit the shops at the start of April 2010. It has a recommended retail price of £169.99.

KODAK EASYSHARE M550

Kodak Easyshare M580 Moving down the scale the M550 has 12 megapixels and a 5x wide angle lens. The LCD screen is smaller than the previous two models at 2.7 inches. Dark grey, blue and green versions are available. The M5500 is priced at £139.99. This camera should be available from the beginning of March 2010.

KODAK EASYSHARE M530

Kodak Easyshare M580 The final and most basic model out of the four cameras is the M530. This is a 12 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. The screen is 2.7 inches in size. You can choose between red, green, blue and orange models. This camera is the cheapest of the lot with a recommended retail price of £119.99. It is also due to be available before the other models at the beginning of February.

It is likely that all four of these new Kodak digital cameras will be available at lower prices if you are prepared to shop around for the best deal.

Full specifications for each of these cameras will follow when they are available.
