If you are relatively new to digital cameras or would just like to know more then I can recommend Digital Photography for Dummies. I have a number of books in the For Dummies series and find them one of the best ways to start to get to grips with sometimes difficult subjects. This book covers a lot of ground. As well as going through the basics of a digital camera it also gives you some great tips on composition to help you take better photos. The A-Z of Creative Photography Author: Lee Frost
Over the past few years I have amassed a large collection of photography books. My favourite author is Lee Frost and I own far more of his books than anyone else's. I find his writing style very easy to understand and he has been a big help to me in improving my photography in general. Despite his great knowledge Lee is still able to explain the subject so it can be clearly understood by someone with little or no photography experience. I have selected this book as it is a great problem solver. Whilst it can be read from cover to cover the topics are arranged so it is simple for you to pick an area where you would like to improve and understand more clearly. This is well suited to beginners or people at an intermediate level. Reading this book is a great way to start taking better photos. |

A question that pops up quite often is how can I take great photos for Ebay? It is certainly true that great product shots help to sell goods. Goods sold on Ebay are no different and high quality photographs help to accentuate your product and can lead to a higher price and more profit for you. The book explains exactly the set up you need to take photos to help sell your products. It covers a wide range of products from jewellery to golf clubs. One very positive point is it tells you how to make the most of what you may already have so you do not need to spend a fortune on expensive photography equipment.
