Digital Cameras Under £50
What are the main difference between digital cameras under £50 and those that are more expensive? The most obvious difference is the number of megapixels they offer. You would be hard pressed to produce prints from pictures that taken by digital cameras that cost under £50, but you should have no problem displaying them on a computer and emailing them to family and friends. The next point is that you are unlikely to find a zoom lens and probably no digital zoom feature.
The build quality of the camera will not be of the highest quality. Other areas where you are likely to find a lower level of performance are longer shutter lag or shutter delay and also shorter battery life. In terms of photo quality I would expect you to be able to take an acceptable shot outdoors on good light, but to struggle indoors where the camera's limitations are likely to become more apparent.
