Waterproof and Robust Digital Cameras
Most leading brands now offer robust digital cameras. Just how robust a camera is varies from model to model. For example one camera may be waterproof to depths of 3m while another may be waterproof to depths of 10m. As well as being drop proof to certain heights these cameras can also continue to operate in freezing conditions. Again the exact temperature a camera can continue working in varies from camera to camera.
In terms of standard features these cameras tend to be similar to a typical point and shoot digital camera. Most of them will fit into a larger size pocket, although there are now some very small models on the shelves.
