The Sony DSC P8 is aimed at anyone who likes to take holiday snaps or photographs of special occasions or get togethers. It is a very small and easy to use digital camera. Its size (W/H/D): 4 1/4" x 2" x 1 7/16" (105 x 51.5 x 35.8mm) and weight 7.5 oz (206g) (without batteries and memory stick) means that it can be slipped into a pocket or small bag and can be carried everywhere with you ready for use. The Sony DSC P8 is very simple to operate. You just switch the camera on and it is ready to take pictures. It operates fully automatically and handles all the key settings such as focus and exposure, so that all you need to do is click the shutter button to capture the picture. All in all this digital camera operates very much like a traditional point and shoot or compact 35mm traditional film camera.
