Details of Konica Minolta Digital Cameras
and Where to Find the Best Prices

On the whole Konica Minolta digital cameras tend to be aimed more towards the serious photographer than people who are looking for a digital camera to use on their holiday and for general social photography. There are a number of models that offer extended zoom lens capabilities, two advanced models and a digital SLR. There are four models though that are point and shoot models that are suitable for the casual photographer.

The Konica Minolta range starts off with two ultra slim digital cameras that you can slip into a pocket or purse. These are the 3.2 megapixel Konica Minolta Dimage X31 and the five megapixel Konica Minolta Dimage X50. The Dimage X31 has a 3x optical zoom lens and the Dimage X50 has a slightly smaller 2.8x zoom lens.

Next in the range are two models that have fairly standard feature sets and a stylish build. These are the five megapixel Konica Minolta Dimage G530 and the six megapixel Konica Minolta Dimage G600. Both of these cameras have 3x optical zoom lenses. Although these are primarily point and shoot models they also offer some manual controls that will appeal to more experienced photographers.

Konica Minolta currently offers four digital cameras with extended zoom lenses. These include two models with 12x optical zooms. At the moment this is the longest optical zoom available on a compact digital camera. The models are:

Konica Minolta Dimage Z3. This is a four megapixel model with a 12x optical zoom.

Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 a five megapixel and a 12x optical zoom.

Konica Minolta Dimage Z10. This one has 3.2 megapixels and a 8x optical zoom.

Konica Minolta Dimage Z20. This one has 5 megapixels and a 8x optical zoom.

The two advanced Konica Minolta models are the Konica Minolta Dimage A2 and the Konica Minolta Dimage A200. Both of these are eight megapixel models with a 7x optical zoom lens.

At the top of the range is the Konica Minolta Dynax 7D. This is a 6.1 megapixel digital SLR.
