Digital Cameras The Fuji Finepix A310 is a very straightforward, easy to use digital camera. For anyone who is used to using a traditional 35mm point and shoot or compact camera you will find the look and feel of this camera quite similar. It is aimed at people who enjoy their photography, taking holiday photos and pictures at weddings, parties and other social gatherings. It is small a very lightweight, with dimensions of 97mm x 63.9mm x 33mm and weighing just 155g.

The Fuji Finepix A310 is a 3 megapixel digital camera. This should provide you with good quality prints of up to 10x8". It has a Fujinon 3X optical zoom lens. This is equivalent to 38-114mm on a 35mm camera. If you like the idea of being able to take short movies with a digital camera then this one with take video clips of a minute and a half in high resolution and over five minutes at a lower resolution.

For composing and reviewing images there is a 1.5" TFT LCD monitor. This is of a fairly standard size for a camera with this overall specification. It has video output so you can play both the still images and video clips back through a television set. To help you take good photographs there is a preset scene selector with setting for portrait, landscape, sports and night scene.

Power is supplied to the Fuji Finepix A310 through 2 AA alkaline batteries. Ni-MH rechargeable batteries can also be used and we recommend that you consider purchasing these, plus a battery charger to keep the running costs of the camera down.
