Fuji Finepix A800 Features
The Fuji Finepix A800 has eight megapixels and a three times zoom lens. There is also a 6.9x digital zoom feature. The lens has a focal length equivalent to 36 - 108mm on a 35mm camera. The lens has a maximum aperture of F2.8 - F5.2.
Basics
For close up shots you can focus from 10cm away from the subject by placing the Finepix A800 in macro mode. There is also a special mode for producing 4 x 6" prints without the need to crop the photo. For when you would like to appear in the photo there is a self timer with a two or ten second delay.
LCD
On the back of the camera you will find a 2.5" LCD screen. This is made up of around 115,000 pixels.
Flash
The range of the built in flash unit is 3.8m, falling to 2m when the zoom is fully extended. Flash modes are Auto, Red-eye Reduction, Forced Flash, Suppressed Flash, Slow Synchro, Red-eye Reduction + Slow Synchro.
Scene Modes
By selecting a scene mode you indicate to the camera the type of shot you are about to take. It will then set its controls accordingly. The scene modes are Landscape, Sport, Night, Natural light, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, Sunset, Underwater, Flower, Party, Museum, Text and Manual
Movies
The Finepix A800 is capable of producing movies with sound. Although you can apply zoom beforehand zoom cannot be used while recording is in progress. The maximum resolution is 320 x 240 pixels. The top speed of the movie is 30 frames per second.
Advanced Features
A small number of more advanced features include white balance (Auto, Fine, Shade, Fluorescent light (Daylight), Fluorescent light (Warm White), Fluorescent light (Cool White), Incandescent light), ISO (Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800) and exposure compensation (+/- 2 in 0.3 steps).
Shutter speeds are controlled by the camera. These work in the range 4 seconds to 1/1600 seconds.

You will find all the cables and software in the box to connect the Finepix A800 to a computer, television and compatible printer.
