The Sony SAL-18200 offers tremendous flexibility through its 11x zoom range. This makes it a good choice if you are looking for a single lens that has the versatility to capture a wide range of subjects from landscapes through to some sports action and wildlife.

The SAL-18200 has been designed to work at its best with Digital SLRs with APS-C sized sensors. These are typically found on consumer level Digital SLRs as well as some higher level models.

Sony have used aspherical and ED (extra low dispersion) elements to add a bit of extra image quality.
