The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II is a professional level telephoto zoom lens. It is suited to subjects such as landscape and wildlife photography. As you would expect it has a number of advanced and high quality features.
Nikon have constructed a lens that has enhanced dust and moisture resistance, magnesium die-cast barrel construction and a protective meniscus front lens. The AF-S NIKKOR 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II has 4 ED (extra low dispersion) elements to ensure best image quality. There are also three focusing modes so that you can switch easily between automatic and manual focusing.
Focusing is further enhanced by the inclusion of both internal focusing and a silent wave motor. These help to ensure fast and smooth focusing.
